This is a “Session 0” for VAESEN, a new tabletop roleplaying game from FREE LEAGUE GAMES. In 19th century Scandinavia, the players are new members of The Society, a group of individuals gifted with the ability to see vaesen–fantastical creatures from folklore. In this video, the players make characters using optional Life Path tables found in the core rulebook, and also do some light worldbuilding. Later, they play out a few scenes as they take over stewardship of Castle Gyllencreutz.
